Butterjoint is a comfy bar and restaurant located in North Oakland. Our welcoming and eclectic atmosphere is appropriate for almost any occasion - whether it be meeting a friend for a drink, celebrating an important event, or relaxing after work. Our menu is a mixture of familiar Pittsburgh foods (think pierogies, hamburgers, French fries) and French bistro classics (beef tartare, raclette, mussels), and seasonal classics that come and go throughout the year. It was our first time and it was my daughter's bday and it it was amazing, atmosphere was amazing, food was amazing, service was amazing, pricing was amazing and the drinks was 🔥.....definitely will go back! They also came out and sang happy birthday to my daughter with an piece of nice size cheesecake as well!!!

Excellent ambience and service on a post-holiday, low-key weeknight. Always think to have the duck when I visit French restaurants and the duck leg confit met my high expectations! Nice wine list and cocktails as well.

We were surprised to find that the Sunday brunch menu was available for this holiday (Jan. 1). This allowed for a range of item which the four of us tried. They were all tasty, delicious and well presented. Our server, Shawn, was helpful and attentive and booking was easy and flexible. When I called to say we would be a little late, Natalie was very helpful. All in all, a top notch experience.
