The venue interior is not inspirational but we went for the cookery rather than the interior design! Our meal was beautifully presented with some outstandingly delicious courses, 'carrot soup' and 'the Lamb' in particular. With the added delight of some wonderfully tasting bread and oat cake biscuits with cheese. We were served by attentive waiting staff who were able to discuss the menu and the wine list with passion and knowledge but still managed not to be overly obvious.
