Even though Post is a new name for most of us, it has been an important part of South Hamilton history since 1924. The historic building at 16 Bay Rd. was home to the South Hamilton Post Office, and a place for residents to send and pick up letters. In response to the Great Depression, and a drop in the postage rate (from three cents to 2 cents), the Postmaster added more opportunities for residents to pick up their mail. At Post, which at the time was known as “the brick block building”, letters were piled on a table, and a bell was rung to let residents know that they could come and retrieve their mail. The Sunday brunch is amazing. The food was so delicious got a made to order omelette that was heaven..the coffee was fantastic. Service was great even while they were very busy.

Went with a group of friends for our book club dinner. The ambience was really nice and the noise level was low for our conversation making it perfect for a special night out on a date or with friends. Best of all, the food was absolutely delicious and plentiful! I had the pan seared chicken with smoked carrot risotto and others had the salmon. Everyone loved their meal and all agreed that we would love to return!

I love dining at your restaurant Always great food and great service Today, there was a large truck alongside the building. It was VERY difficult to exit my space. There was another customer who also had great difficulty. A Fed Ex driver helped us both. The driver of the delivery truck, delivering to you, was not at all helpful Just letting you know.

Our Bartender was excellent! The food was amazing! We got the steak and eggs and the breakfast wrap! Absolutely amazing!! Can’t wait to go back! But the star was the lemon ricotta donuts served warm with homemade jam!!!
