Best Casual Restaurants in Georgetown

We went in closing time but hey turned off the music when we started eating, they were two families besides us. So it was a lot of people trying to enjoy the evening

Our family visited the Georgetown location for the first time and had a very enjoyable experience. Our reservation began towards the end of happy hour (3-6pm daily!) so we each enjoyed a drink and appetizers to start, followed by main courses. I will say the menu posted online was different than the one in house - specifically for happy hour - but we were still able to find things we liked. The cocktails use well liquors so just be aware if you have strict preferences. They also do their own variations on recipes (e.g. the Aperol Spritz ingredients are listed as Aperol, sparkling rosé, and mint instead of a traditional recipe which typically uses Aperol, Prosecco, and a splash of club soda). To each their own! As for appetizers, the charcuterie tray was nice enough but the steak “flatbread” was a bit odd. It was essentially a pita with steak and peppers on top and a side of chips (?). For main dishes we had Classic Lasagna, White Lasagna, Butternut Squash Ravioli, and a side of pasta with sauce. Everything was great! The white lasagna and butternut ravioli were the stand outs for me. The White Lasagna was VERY creamy and decadent, while the Butternut Squash Ravioli was expertly cooked and the brown butter sage was perfectly sweet and spiced. It was also served on a generous bed of butternut squash purée, which was fantastic. Someone at the table next to us had the Chicken Alfredo Funghi dish and it looked great so I might try that next time. Service was very kind and attentive. The place was full and despite only having two waiters to cover the floor, we were never kept waiting for anything. All in all it was a very good dinner and I’m sure our family will be back again soon!

Friday night dinner, and our first visit, and boy we had much fun: from the band that was playing awesome sings, to the delicious food, it was just awesome! For sure - make a reservation! as it gets really busy on such a weekend dinner! Food tasted really good and freshly prepared, but is mostly a "bar food" (i.e. hand held sandwiches / burgers etc.). VERY active bar scene with lots of alcohol options and beers. Highly recommended!

Food was good but slow coming out of the kitchen. Very busy night. Our server Gustavo was attentive.

My friend and I have had there jackfruit tacos several times, but they just weren’t the same. We miss having lunch at Jack’s lounge! The restaurant downstairs is fine but Jack’s lounge just has a special magic to it! Given all of that, our Service was flawless!!! it always is! The servers are attentive and they let you sit for as long as you want to. It was a business lunch so that was a great idea!
