Since 2012, Fonda La Catrina has been serving up Mexican comfort food and drink with quality ingredients and lots of love. Umi Sake House is a unique Japanese cuisine restaurant in the Belltown area of Seattle featuring the highest quality seafood available in the Northwest, a large izakaya-style tapas menu, and boasting a sake list of over 60 imported Japanese bottles. Service was slow (dinner took 3 hours), but the waitstaff was pleasant and helpful. We were not in a hurry, so the leisurely pace was ok. We sat right in front of the hostess stand, and she seemed angry, and we felt like she was glaring at us all night. It may be that she was angry about the slow service, but we felt her wrath. The food and wine was very good, and the waitstaff was friendly and capable. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed our dinner very much except for the disapproving hostess.
