Best Casual Restaurants in Long Grove

We visited Saranello’s with a plan of having our rehearsal dinner at their restaurant and getting a feel for the place. Not only was Mary (the Events manager) a delight, she answered all of our questions and gave us pointers for the event. Our dinner afterwards at the restaurant was DELICIOUS, and our server Joann was a firecracker in the best way. Not only does the restaurant have great food and a welcoming atmosphere, you really get the sense that the team likes one another and have a nice time while still making the customers feel like VIPs. 10/10 would recommend for dinner and or your private event needs, these guys are pros. :)

Great waiter very nice and helped explain menu. Was very nice when my dish was mixed up with another tables because of similar it was. The food is delicious from the pasta diavolo vodka and chicken parm. Big portions that guarantee your going home with a box. Great selection of wine, the red Tuscany wine we tried has become a family favorite. Staff bringing the dishes are very nice and on top of your empty water, bread refill and empty plate cleanup. Overall would highly recommend.

I love the Cooper’s Hawk menu! This time I chose a chicken Caesar salad and was delighted to find out that the lettuce was chopped. Everyone in our party of five enjoyed their food. The service started out slow but improved by the time our entree orders were taken.

As always the food was great and Tina was an exceptional server.
