Best Casual Restaurants in Marietta

We made a last-minute reservation at Mac’s Chop House and had an outstanding dining experience. Our meal began with flavorful yellowfin tuna and shrimp appetizers, which were absolutely delightful. Most of us opted for the steak, which was perfectly cooked and melted in our mouths, while others enjoyed the fresh and savory seafood. The highlight of the evening, however, was our waiter, Brandon. His attentiveness and professionalism were exceptional, and his humor and personable nature truly made the evening special. Mac’s Chop House remains one of our favorites, and we can’t wait to return!

Everything was great but our server was impersonal and less than trained/experienced for that level of fine dining. There was no spirit about the menu, no recommendations, and no interest in our story. It was a business dinner, with the VP, two long term employees and their wives. Very coffee shop like service. We were pushed to order, was asked a few times and it got annoying. He was shocked that we wanted a second bottle of wine. Somewhat awkward. He was never rude, just seemed bored. With drinks in the bar included, we spent about $700.

This was our first time trying Three Roses, but it certainly will not be our last! The food and service were amazing - our server, Johnny, made great recommendations that were all on point. We had the cheese curds as our appetizer, I had the chicken fried chicken, and my husband had the steak. All were cooked perfectly. We left full and talking about coming back again!

Our service was exemplary, ordered one special and one regular menu item and both were prepared perfectly. The portions are generous so we were glad we didn’t have an appetizer. Did find room for dessert and the fried choc cake was exceptional (and decadent!)

The Home Alone Christmas experience was great! All the drinks I tried were so delicious and the food was great too. Will be back even when the Christmas pop up is gone
