Best Casual Restaurants in Polanco/Nueva Anzures

We were lucky that La Única was our first meal in CDMX and it did not disappoint! The cocktails we ordered were delicious (Mescal Sour & Tamarind Margarita) and we tried a variety of things from starters, to tacos, to salads, to sushi. We loved it all! Our server was wonderful and recommended my husband’s favorite part of the meal (the sushi tuna with avocado & carrots listed under “From the Sea”).

We went for an early dinner for 2 and were seated immediately. The wine selection was excellent and our starter soup and guacamole dish were well portioned and served quickly. We both had different mole for dinner which were rich in flavor and the chicken was perfectly cooked. The atmosphere was also appreciated to have a quiet dinner without loud music or street noise to interrupt our meal. We truly enjoyed a great dinner!

Cocktails were great! Service was great! They put us way in the back at a tiny table which felt like an over flow area which was odd. The food was okay. This is more a cocktail bar with small snacks. Not really a dining establishment. It was nice overall.

Good experience. Great food. Personnel could be kinder and the little more organized… but the food is worth it. Get the tropical smoothie
