- SSandraTampa / Central Florida West •5 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoI made reservations for an after Christmas family dinner get together. We all had different entrees and all were delicious!! The service was great. Chris, our waiter was very knowledgeable and helpful with our questions and fit right in with our joking around.. would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant!More infoCafe GabbianoPrice: Moderate• Italian• Siesta Key•4.8
- LLisaFort Lauderdale •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoIf you want authentic Spanish/Cuban food, Columbia is the place to go in Sarasota. We tried a number of things from the menu, chopped tomatoes, Cuban black bean soup (vegan), stuffed shrimp, key lime pie, and white chocolate bread pudding. These items, along with the crispy bread and an Andulusian Gimlet with fresh strawberries were fantastic. Our waitress has quite friendly and extremely prompt, which added to the overall experience. We will definitely be visiting again and hoping to have a cozy table inside. We were seated on the sidewalk (which was the only availability when we made our reservation), and the constant parade of cars, people, and dogs often distracted us from the wonderful meal before us. Note to self: reserve early, this restaurant is extremely popular!More infoColumbia Restaurant - SarasotaPrice: Moderate• Spanish• Sarasota•4.8
- TTracieVIPWashington, D.C. Area •11 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWe love this place !! But we would like to see more variety with the entrees - however, we have favorites, so will keep coming back. Ambience is a little lacking - clean but a lot of room for improvement - Service is always excellent - the best anywhere and the food and cocktails are prepared with care and attention to details ! Great wine list as well ;)More infoBaker & WifePrice: Expensive• Global, International• Sarasota•4.8
- SSandraVIPTampa / Central Florida West •121 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoTripletail is hands down the best seafood restaurant in Sarasota. I should add that one of friends had the medallions of steak and was very pleased. The other three of us had the scallop special which had 8 scallops on delicious rice with a citrus sauce of some kind. Just delicious and we couldn’t eat it all and all three took a few home. We came to Tripletail last Christmas Eve and will come next year that’s how much we like it. We send out an extra thank you to Matt our wonderful server. We ask for him special.More infoTripletail Seafood & SpiritsPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Sarasota•4.8
- NNanVIPSouthwest Florida •21 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoOn Dec. 2nd, 13 of my friends met me at Connors in Sarasota to celebrate my birthday at 3 p.m. It was a total surprise to me. Our waiter was Isaah Mills...He handled all these women with ease and with a smile. He even cut my birthday cake and handed it to my friends. All of us commented about his personality and nice smile and his friendly manner. I just had to mention that about Isaah as frequently a diner does not experience such royal treatment. On December 24th, my husband and I went to Connors for an early dinner and again we were treated like royalty. Our waiter's name was Jake. He also was very friendly and made sure we did not need anything . I live in Venice and I have recommended Connors to everyone. I have lived here for 7 years and I have been to Connors 51 times and never once was disappointed with any meal or service. Happy New Year to all the nice people who work for Connors.
