- DDianeSan Diego •3 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe love coming to the Brigantine. We are greeted warmly by the staff (even the parking attendant) each time we go. Our table positioned us to look over the Del Mar area with a wide view. It was beautiful. I ordered the lobster tacos and they were wonderful. Chunks of lobster inside a yummy coating and placed in blue corn tortillas along with some fresh, sliced vegetables. On the side, a few french fries, and then some fresh, lightly cooked green beans and pretty little carrots. Loved my meal. Daughter had fish and vegetables, husband had fish and chips, and we were all happy with what we ordered and too stuffed to share a dessert. We were well taken care of even though it was really busy when we got there. This is a tried and true restaurant and we will return soon.More infoBrigantine Del MarPrice: Moderate• Seafood• Del Mar•4.6

Our server named Becca, treated us well and set a perfect pace for appetizers, salads, and then the meal. She was constantly checking in on us willing to assist. Please try the Famed Hula Pie for dessert, it's Extraordinary !!!More infoJake's Del MarPrice: Moderate• American• Del Mar•4.7
- PPhaedraSan Diego •3 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWe finally tried Steak 48 and it definitely lives up to the hype! Had a wonderful Christmas eve early dinner. It was a treat to sit at the bar-James, the bartender was friendly, made excellent drinks & further detailed the menu. We ordered the crisp shrimp appetizer, bone-in rib-eye, bone-in filet & roasted cauliflower. All were fantastic, cooked perfectly/as we ordered & came out sizzling hot. Quality of food is superb, as was the service and ambiance. Can’t wait to come back! Thanks, James & Steak 48!More infoSteak 48 - Del MarPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Del Mar•4.9
- RRichardSan Diego •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoWe were greeted with a welcome and they remembered from my reservation that this was my wedding anniversary. We choose an indoor seat by the window. The waves looked nice as we could see them roll in. The food was very good. We had the Shrimp Dumplings which was good--sort of like a Chinese potsticker, but soft. I had the Lobster and Shrimp Chowder, excellent. My wife had the Mixed Organic Greens, very good. We shared both. For our main course I had the Seafood Pasta lobster, shrimp, scallop & mahi with smoked tomato sauce, Thai basil & parmesan. I liked it very much. My wife had the Pacific Paella grilled lobster tail, mahi, clams, scallops, shrimp & saffron Arborio rice, very good. The quantity of those dishes was more than what we expected--we could have just ordered one or the other and shared.More infoPacific Coast Grill - CardiffPrice: Very Expensive• Seafood• Cardiff By The Sea•4.8
