Avelo Restaurant is located in a heritage townhouse on a quiet street in Yorkville and serves some of the city's finest plant-based cuisine. Just a few steps from the hustle and bustle of Yonge and Bloor, Bumpkin’s has been a local landmark since 1971, serving the very best in French continental cuisine with an old world Parisian feel. This is the first time my husband and I did an 8 course tasting. With incredibly knowledgable staff, mind blowing and complex food, this was a night to remember. When a taste can bring you back to your childhood (much like what happened in Ratatouille), it’s nothing I had ever experienced anywhere else. Even as a non vegetarian, I did not miss the absence of meat. A must “go-to”.

Food and service was wonderful. Such a gem in our neighborhood. We were going to the Theater and they made sure we would have plenty of time to enjoy our dinner and be on time for the Theater. I would highly recommend Bumpkins
