Akahoshi Ramen is a humble ramen shop in the city of Chicago. Everything is made in the restaurant, including all soups, seasonings, toppings, and noodles. We are not an authentic ramen shop, though we value the history of ramen, and our ramen is influenced by its past and its future potential. The dish, popularized in Japan after World War 2, is symbolic of both struggle and perseverance. It is both a simple dish, and a fantastically complex one that we treat with reverence and respect.     Our waiter James B. was wonderful helpful, patient and fast. The entree’, ravioli, while delicious was not as hot as it should have been and the charge was removed. The guacamole was tops, the soups were delicious and both were enjoyable. The booth was perfect for us and noise level was conversational friendly.

    Went to Bamboo club to celebrate a friends birthday, they had a nice fall/halloween ambience. We were there during happy hour and the pizzas were only $10. The margaritas were only $7 and the sizes were huge. The other drinks like the Jell-O shots and the bloody Dracula that smoked was sooo good. Our waitress Lauren was excellent and really catered to us. The manager also made the birthday girl happy by throwing in Jell-O shots and ice cream with candles. We loved the haunted house it was fun. Love this place and will definitely go back to see how the ambience is in the summer!
