Best Comfort Food Restaurants in Bear

We enjoyed our lunch very much. We didn’t realize that they were serving brunch only until our server informed us, but there was a nice selection to choose from. Our server was great! She didn’t rush us, but did remind us when it was getting close to the buffet shutting down. She also kept our coffee and tea cups filled.

People are sleeping on the French toast burger foreal. Sure you can’t finish it in one sitting but then you have the other half for the best breakfast ever.

Columbus Inn is the best choice for brunch in this area. Excellent food and service and moderate prices. The only criticism I have is that when there is a large group, and there often is, the noise level is really loud. This is Moore the fault of guests who seem to need to out show each other. But if you go at 10 AM, you can generally Have a quiet table and a very nice meal indeed.

The food was delicious. We ordered wings, clams, sliders, and a burger. 0 complaints on the food! The environment wasn't exactly what I expected, but that's my fault. I could've done more research. It was pretty loud and it took us 35 minutes to find parking (That is not an exaggeration) . I really only have 2 huge complaints. 1. Our server was awful. She paid no attention to her tables. Her phone got more attention. But at the end of the day, it's her tips that will suffer...or so we thought. Turns out 20% gratuity is added to the bill. We paid our bill and we decided to use the restroom before our walk back to the car. This is where my second complaint starts. 2. We used the bathroom on the main floor. It was a single person restroom with one sink. The sink didn't work! I was told there were 2 bathrooms downstairs, but never checked those. Luckily I had wipes in my purse. I'm not sure why they had the sign up saying "employees must wash hands before returning to work" because they clearly can't in the main floor bathroom. I was pretty shocked.

It was kids day at Mad Macs on Sunday. Bluey was there and almost every tv had Bluey on. We were unaware that this event was scheduled so we were very surprised. All of this is fine, except the tv’s were extremely loud. The hostesses were very apologetic and helpful in finding us a table in the bar area away from the chaos. The waitstaff are always very friendly and accommodating. We love hanging out here in the evenings. But will check with their event’s schedule before going again on Sunday. Lol
