First introduced to Manhattan’s SoHo neighborhood in 2010, Osteria Morini brings the soulful cuisine and convivial spirit of Emilia-Romagna in northern Italy to Bernardsville, New Jersey. Known as the Italian Breadbasket, Emilia-Romagna is also the birthplace of some of the flavors and ingredients most commonly associated with Italian cuisine worldwide: prosciutto, mortadella, parmigiano, and balsamic vinegar. In Italian, “osteria” means a place where the owner “hosts” guests, and we're excited to host you in our New Jersey home.Corporate Executive Chef Bill Dorrler oversees the kitchen operations at Osteria Morini, led daily by Executive Chef Jonathan Rice. Osteria Morini’s wine list was curated to include wines native to this part of Italy.Osteria Morini received three stars from both the New Jersey Star Ledger and New Jersey Monthly. We look forward to welcoming you to Osteria Morini.

We love Bowman’s, but had not been for brunch in quite some time. As always, the food was delicious & the service was excellent. Top-notch Bloody Mary’s too!

Only my second time dining at ninety acres and just like the first time, it was an absolute delight. Our waiter tonight was Andres and he was a gem. I want to give Andres a special shoutout for being so special and such a pleasure. He was so attentive and went above and beyond to make sure our dinner was nothing less than perfection! Thank you so much for an amazing dinner. Will be back as soon as possible.

The Ho Ho Kus Inn is a neighborhood gem -- food is very good, it's got a nice atmosphere, and the service is professional, but friendly. It's nice to have a restaurant like this -- with a liquor license -- in the center of town. The manager was on site and working hard to make sure things went smoothly on the busy night we ate there.

We'd eaten at Restaurante MV the weekend before. Osteria Morini restaurant is not as pretty as Restaurante MV, but the overall quality of the food and service for us outweighed the ambiance. Between the two restaurants we preferred the cost and the quality of the food here, although it was slightly higher than a restaurant in Chester and in Lebanon we enjoy. We shared an app, a salad, each ordered an entrée and shared a dessert. We started with the Melanzana (fried eggplant balls) pomodoro, ($15.00) which was delicious and an appetizer we'd never had before. We moved onto the Romana salad which is essentially a Caesar with baked capers, adding a crunchy twist. ($16.00) From here we ordered a chicken parm. (huge portion) with the option of either garlic spinach or pasta. (no extra charge for pasta like Restaurante MV) which was cooked perfectly. ($32.00) We also ordered the short rib special. ($32.00) The portion was small, but the dish was rich with a amazing deep beefy flavor, making the size of the dish was adequate. (Nothing to take home here) For dessert we shared the donuts with toppings and ice cream. I am normally not a donut fan, but these were well worth getting, accompanied by an expresso and cappuccino. The only downside I would say was the restaurant and ladies room were so cold to the point where I ordered hot tea before dinner, instead of a bottle of wine. I didn't want anything cold which was a loss to the restaurant. We would definitely recommend Osteria Morini for a dinner out and will be back again.
