Set in Kansas City’s historic City Market, Brown and Loe Restaurant’s inviting atmosphere is a blend of “big city” bistro with the welcoming casual flavor of a neighborhood favorite. We had reservations and had to wait for a few minutes minutes, but the wait was worth every second! The hostess and server were very helpful and gracious. The salad, appetizers and entrees were outstanding. The restaurant was very busy and the atmosphere was festive.

The food and drinks were very tasty, service was good and I appreciate all the vegetarian options that were available! It was just my partner and I and we got a nice little table near the window, which we both enjoyed! It was our first time and will definitely be back. I got the Yule cocktail and mushroom sammy, he got fish and chips and a sour. A little bit expensive (about $70 before tip in total), but worth it for the quality and experience.

Best meal we’ve had in a long time! Loved everything from the drinks to the bruschetta (incredible!!) to the perfectly cooked filet. Wish we’d left room for dessert. Next time! Such a darling, classy, quaint place. Cannot wait to go back!
