Best Comfort Food Restaurants in Makawao

May legitimately be the best meal I’ve ever had! All dishes were delicious and staff were lovely. The owner/head chef made himself very available to check on patrons, see if we had any questions, and to just chat a bit. We are definitely going back next time we’re in Maui!

Drinks were cold as was the Kale Caesar. Chicken Parmesan with pasta was fresh and hot. Child’s butter pasta was delicious. Server is the best here.

Wonderful old building with a delicious menu and nice beverages on offer. Our waiter, Joe, was exceptional as were the rest of the staff. Well worth it and a perfect spot to eat prior to our red-eye flight back to North America!

Sunday nights are always fun at Mulligan’s! The band is great, and there is dancing and good vibes all around. We are fortunate to have such a great venue to be able to sit outside on the patio and watch the sunset while surrounded by great music and good people is a rare thing. The shepherds pie and bangers and mash are always a hit, and my son raves about the chicken sandwich. Highly recommend this for lace. Aloha!
