Together with his wife (and sous chef), Veronica, and his cousin (and hostess), Barbara, he decided to continue his gastronomic artistry and creativity in his restaurant named after himself "Riccardo Trattoria."Here through the craftsmanship of an Italian food connoisseur, dishes are prepared with an almost zen-like essentiality that has shaped Riccardo's professional and existential life course. Some highlights of the menu are Veal Chop Milanese, Veal Shank Osso Bucco, Pappardelle with Short Rib Ragu, various classic Rissotto preparations, and for dessert options like Panna Cotta, Homemade Tiramisu and Tuscan Ricotta Cheesecake round out the menu.

    First time for my sons(15 and 9)! They enjoyed immensely! My wife, our friend and myself had a great time. It’s a tradition to meet up the top of the year and have brunch. I had the pot roast and it was NOT HOT! We had fried at the table a could have times and they were cold too. My 9 year old didn’t care for the pot pie because he thought it was crust on the top and bottom. It was only crust on top. They did replace with chicken tenders for him. Wife and son had burgers. They say they were pretty good. Missing lettuce and tomatoes. Our friend had a chicken Caesar and the chicken was very dry and old looking. He ate it but didn’t enjoy. Our service was great (Stephanie) but was really busy. It was a busy day. But she did her best and was very nice.

    every time we eat at girl and the goat, i fall in love all over again. the food is creative and always delicious. the ambiance feels so cozy and casual, intimate, and like a warm hug. i love that i celebrated my 40th birthday here at the king’s table and then, 10 years later visited for my 50th birthday and tho we sat at a different table, had a repeat visit from the same server - GARY!!! definitely try the steak in citrus dressing, the pork belly in crabmeat sauce, and always the pig face. always always the pig face. and the crumpets in the pate order. my GOSH so good

    Had an excellent experience at Andy’s. The food was amazing; we ordered the Cajun shrimp risotto and the Caribbean grilled salmon. The salmon was juicy and delightful. The shrimp risotto was phenomenal as well. Loved the espresso martini! The music was great too and the entire vibe / experience.

    I had a great experience here. Our server was helpful and attentive. We had the salmon and the mezzi rigatoni and they were both delicious. The vibe was really nice. Adalina will stay on our list of places to go in Chicago for sure.
