Best Comfort Food Restaurants in Pound Ridge

This was the first time we’d been to Alessandro’s since it was redone. Not for lack of interest; just a tough reservation to get! But it sure was worth the effort. The pace looks great, the service was as good as always and the food was better than I remembered. Best artichoke salad and chicken scarparella! Already can’t wait to go back. Bonus, Alessandro is the lost wonderful host. Always makes it a point to come say hi.

Good dinnner, they were busy this evening with a party and multiple large families, so servers a little stressed. However food great albeit a little pricy. Will come again.

As usual, our recent Friday night dinner at Tilly's Table was excellent. We arrived at 5 p.m. and were greeted and seated immediately. Our waitress came by and knew exactly which wine I would order. She brought over a small light which made our window seat much brighter. When it was time to order she joked with us, "The usual?" For me, yes. For my husband, no. He branched out to try another choice. The only problem we encountered was the table for two was hardly large enough to hold the large - and full - dinner and salad plates. We always have enough left on our plates to take home because of their enormous servings. So, actually, dinner at Tilly's is dinner a two-dinner affair.

We loved our meal of chicken pot pie, Chilean sea bass, & ny strip & spinach. Loved the pear salad too. We thoroughly enjoyed NorthStar and hope to be back in 2025.
