I recently had the pleasure of dining at Eataly Don Mills, and it was an experience that truly captured the essence of Italian culinary tradition. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, with the distinct aroma of fresh pasta, sizzling meats, and fresh-baked breads filling the air. The layout of the store is impressive, offering a variety of Italian goods and fresh ingredients, but it’s the dining experience that really stands out. I started with a classic antipasto platter, which featured an array of cured meats, cheeses, and olives. Each item was carefully selected, and the quality was unmistakable—everything from the prosciutto to the pecorino was rich in flavor, perfectly complemented by the accompanying bread and honey. For the main course, I opted for a handmade pasta dish: pappardelle with a rich ragu. The pasta was cooked to perfection, with just the right amount of bite. The ragu was hearty and flavorful, making each bite feel like a taste of authentic Italian comfort food. The portion sizes were generous, and I found myself savoring every forkful. To finish off the meal, I couldn’t resist the tiramisu. It was indulgent yet light, with the perfect balance of coffee flavor and creamy mascarpone. A true Italian classic. The service at Eataly Don Mills was impeccable. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable, offering helpful recommendations and ensuring our experience was seamless from start to finish. Great service, prices were reasonable, food was good. Easy to get to and lots of parking. This was my first time and I will go again for sure.
