Best Cosy Restaurants in Doraville

Our regular server Alexa was outstanding as usual. It was great to meet the very courteous Becca and Jimena. Food was great and promptly presented. Again, Alexa is a credit to your organization.

We chose to dine at Carbonara Trattoria for a family celebration. Our server, Federico, was very attentive, courteous, and very personable. Our drink glasses were never empty, he offered suggestions on entree orders, and was prompt with any requests we made during our visit. Our salads, entree and desserts were all very tasty. The only thing of note was I found it to be odd that we made a reservation several weeks prior, and were seated on the patio in January.... we were the only table all night that was seated on the covered patio during our entire stay.

We had a reservation for 4:15 but we didn’t get seated until around 4:30. Having a reservation I expected to be seated once we arrived but it was Christmas Day so it was busy. The waitress was amazing but the people bringing the food was a little slow. We got our entree before we got our appetizer. We had to constantly ask for our bread and we never received it until the end of our meal which was around 6:30. It took a little longer for us to get our check but again it was a busy evening. The food was a little pricey but it was worth the quality and the portions were ok. I would definitely suggest this location for a special occasion or even a nice date. They had a live singer downstairs (we were seated upstairs) you could hear her clearly throughout the entire restaurant which was nice. We will be back we enjoyed the whole evening.

Great dining experience for the family on Christmas Eve! The food was amazing!

Maya Speak-Tiki was fun!!! I love a great Tiki Bar! Went on a Wednesday night, after dining downstairs at Agave Bandido, which was delicious and 4 stars! Love the secret door, the bar, the ambiance, the decor and the private alcoves! The single bathroom was challenging, but you could always go downstairs. We didn’t dine there, hence the 1 star for that. The cocktails were creative and delicious! We had a great time laughing, celebrating life and taking selfies! I highly recommend! Can’t wait to go back! Just a reminder Maya is separate from Agave. So you’ll need to make separate reservations for each! NJOY!
