- RRiyaBirmingham/West Midlands (county) •1 review4.0Dined 4 days agoi have been to At The Woods a few times already in the past, and previously every time the food and service was outstanding. I always order the same meal, and so does my partner. i order the Hens Garden, and he has the Yorkshire Wrap. However, unfortunately over time i have noticed the price of my meal has been increasing, and the portion size is decreasing. Before i was served a hearty portion of mash, carrots, broccoli, and two chicken breast pieces. However, this time I visited, my dinner was served in a bowl which made it very awkward and uncomfortable to eat dinner out of a bowl with a knife and fork. This was a main meal for me for £20 which did not fill me at all. The portion of mash was roughly two tablespoons, i was no longer served carrots, the broccoli was crunchy, and i was now only served one piece of chicken which was quite small. My partner was also disappointed with his food. This is the same thing he has ordered the previous times, and this time the steak in his wrap was overcooked and chewy, so he had to spit it out which is appalling. At The Woods is a new restaurant which has come to birmingham, although they have been open for a little while now, they are still NEW. Getting ahead of the game by playing it smart and increasing prices and decreasing portions is most definitely not smart, and driving loyal customers away.More infoRestaurant at The WoodsPrice: Expensive• British• Birmingham•3.8
- IIanBirmingham/West Midlands (county) •1 review5.0Dined 7 days agoWe had the most wonderful evening here for a birthday. Little touches like the birthday card made this a truly amazing evening. From the young man who greeted us, to all the staff who looked after us and meeting Aktar himself it was a special time. The chefs bought the courses out and explained each one - there wasn’t one that disappointed. Would wholly recommend.More infoOpheemPrice: Very Expensive• Indian• Birmingham•4.9
- AAilsaWarwickshire •3 reviews5.0Dined on 19 Dec 2024We went for our Christmas lunch & there was supposed to be 8 but only 5 could make it. We all had 3 courses and wine & the food was perfect, only disappointment was they’d run out of Tiramisu 😂. It was refreshing that we didn’t have to pre-order our food or have to have the normal Christmas meal. I’d have booked for NYE but they didn’t have availability. Thank you to all the staff for making it such an enjoyable experience & wish you all a very merry Christmas 🤶More infoPasta di PiazzaPrice: Moderate• Italian• Birmingham•4.6
