The price is a little bit high for the food, but that is to be expected when you go into a restaurant in la Isla. As with most restaurants in Cancun they really try to be upscale, but it’s really hard without proper training in true customer service, especially customer service within a restaurant and a various requests and questions that people will generally have one viewing the menu, so just keep that in mind. Unless you’re fluent in Spanish completely trying to explain or ask questions that are direct or specific regarding the food, and how it’s prepared, etc. Keep in mind that this is a thai/Indian fusion restaurant so naturally there will be questions that are asked about various items on the menu because of the origin recipes. That is truly where the disconnect lies so knowing that going into having a meal here will make it a little bit simpler for you.
