Best Cosy Restaurants in Chatham

We were pleasantly surprised with the quality and value of the food. My husband had the octopus salad and the steak and eggs The steak was perfectly cooked and octopus was plentiful, tender and delicious. I had the kale salad and the New England clam chowder pot pie. Both were delicious just the right portion. Our waitress was friendly, professional and attentive. A great experience overall.

Best dinner we’ve ever had in NJ! From the food all the down to the ambiance, it was incredible! We absolutely loved being seated in the old train cart; it felt so romantic! We went for Valentine’s Day and had a prix fixe menu. For the appetizers, we had the The Grille’s Signature Crab Bisque and Caprese. Entrees, we had the Chateaubriand Bouquetiere and Rod’s New York Prime Sirloin Steak. For dessert, we both chose the cheesecake. We will be back!

It’s our first time at this place, even though we’ve been seeing it for over two decades. In short, we were quite pleasantly surprised by the taste of the food, as it was light but very flavorful - not as salty as we thought we’d get from almost any Italian restaurant we’ve been to, some of which are very good in their own right. However, this lightness in taste stood out, be it the prosciutto in the salad or the clams in pasta. We’ll come back for sure.

food is great. service especially if you have Sebastián even better.!
