At Timber Wood-Fire Bistro, all of our dishes are made from scratch using the highest quality ingredients. Memoir was an amazing place to eat in downtown Omaha. We went there to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The service was amazing . Chris was very attentive to our needs. The food was some of the best we have had in Omaha area. An amazing appetizer including a dip and an amazing squash soup. Our main courses was shared between the two of us as salmon on rice and a prime rib sandwich. Dessert was not only a beautiful presented but delicious. I can't say enough great things about this restaurant. We will be back.

This was family style a special for Sundays. We enjoyed our Pasta and Veal and the salads and roasted vegetables were fabulous. I had a French wine, Sauvignon Blanc that was so crisp and delicious. Our entire meal was delightful.

We continue to eat here every year when we are in town for a convention and the food is exceptional. The service is impeccable. We are grateful for the hospitality and atmosphere. I definitely recommend J. Gilbert’s to anyone visiting the Omaha area. You will not be disappointed!
