The building is a fine example of Early American Dutch rubble architecture featuring wide planked random width board floors, a fire place in each of the main rooms and many small multi-level rooms.The Hoffman House is located at the corner of the historic Stockade district in Kingston NY, and once served as fortification and a lookout. Beautiful atmosphere, surroundings and furnishings in an old mansion. Service was great with very friendly staff. Recommend the onion soup, steak tartare and branzino.

We enjoyed the opertunity to have dinner at the Hoffman House. It is n old structure and I believe they made the most of the space available. The food was very good, really everything was very good.
