We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Roy’s Hawaii Kai! The ambience was perfect as was our waiter Luke. He was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu and provided excellent and swift service. The food was outstanding! For starters we had the Ahi 20 sushi roll and the ribs. So good! For dinner, had the short rib, filet and butterfish and all 3 did not disappoint. The bread pudding and chocolate soufflé are a must get! A bit pricey but worth it! Food and amazing views made the experience!

Excellent food and service. Any visit to Honolulu should include a meal here. The view is spectacular of the bay/ocean, and you will enjoy the fine dining and lovely atmosphere!

The place is simply amazing… decoration was on point, low lighting, rose petals over the seats and tables, jazz player on balcony and even a fire dancer. The drinks were delicious with a fancy presentation. We order the truffle risotto with shaved truffle (table side) on top… fully recommend it. We also ordered the veal chop with potato gratin… out of this world, tender, juicy and very flavorful. Overall this was a 10/10 experience, the staff was very friendly and the way they pull off the experience is very unique. Clark (owner) was very attentive and made us feel like family. Will be going back, they set the bar for a special occasion extremely high! Bravo Gaslamp! You got something amazing going on!!!

Perfectly seasoned and delicious food! We actually enjoyed it more than the Kahala location. Will be back on another Friday night to catch the fireworks again. Great night!

A friend was in town for only two days and we had missed getting together on her prior visits. I chose Hau Tree lanai for brunch and it was perfect. She liked the choices on the menu and the ocean just outside. The food, service and ambiance were their usual best. My favorite restaurant for 20 or more years and am always impressed.
