Best Date Night Restaurants in Central Saanich

We had an excellent stay at the Villa Eyrie Resort and had several meals at the Alpina Restaurant over three days. We were served by excellent, professional staff, our meals were always delicious and well presented, and we enjoyed a very relaxing ambience. Highly recommended for any occasion.

Date night. We enjoyed the Chef’s tasting menu with wine pairing. The service, explanations and descriptions of each food and wine course was expertly crafted and delivered. This was one of the most creative and delicious tasting menus we’ve had the pleasure to enjoy. Victoria is seriously establishing itself as a beautiful city with world class chefs and restaurants.

The food and service were both exceptional and everyone in our party of 4 agreed. The restaurant ambience was wonderful and quaint. Derek our head waiter was very professional and everyone provided us with excellent service always making sure all our needs were being taken care of. Looking forward to returning.

As usual our experience did not disappoint - our server respectfully allowed us to catch up before ordering and provided exemplary service throughout - which is both expected and also always, always gratefully appreciated. I indulged my inner child and ordered Med Bread for the first time in decades; in retrospect I’m embarrassed that I haven’t freely admitted to my love of this delicious staple! Our selections were as delicious and plentiful as expected, and the relaxed opportunity to work our way through the delicious table before us was much appreciated- we did our absolute best but had to admit defeat and request a takeout box in the end. I love the hospitality of this place and that I can count on them for a consistently amazing experience - thank you!
