Hamrock's Restaurant is located within the Moore-McCandlish House (built 1842) in the heart of historic Fairfax City. We've been proud to serve delicious made-to-order American dishes using fresh ingredients since our establishment in 2016. We also have a wonderful hand-selected wine list to enhance your dining experience. Approximately eighty-percent of our menu is-- or can be-- gluten-free, as we use only canola and olive oil in all of our cooking. Some of our best-selling dishes are our southern fried chicken, grilled meatloaf, and crab cakes-- all which are gluten free! Other menu favorites include our deviled eggs, firecracker shrimp, Atlantic grilled salmon, roasted pork tenderloin, and penne pasta with andouille sausage & shrimp. We have beautiful year-round outdoor seating options on our wrap around porch (we have heaters!) In the warmer months, we also open our courtyard. We ate our Thanksgiving dinner at 2941 and thoroughly enjoyed it. Food was delicious and service was excellent. The fixed price of $110 per person made for an expensive family dinner which may not be the case for the a la carte menu, so we will have to see on another occasion if the price fits the food. Nonetheless we all enjoyed a fine Thanksgiving meal and recommend 2941 to anyone looking for a memorable occasion with delicious food in a lovely venue.

Hamrocks Thanksgiving dinner was excellent! The salads, turkey dinner and butternut squash risotto, and desserts were all outstanding. The wine list is very good and offered great pairing choices. And the service was exceptional. We can't wait to get the take-home Christmas meal Hamrocks is offering!!

Again the Wine House was a wonderful dining experience. The server was super friendly and I think she brought us our drinks in about 2 minutes. All four of us were more than pleased with the quality of our entrees. The Wine House has always been one of our favorite restaurants because of its quality and atmosphere.
