Best Date Night Restaurants in Fort Lee

We had a 3 p.m. reservation for eight people, and the staff did an outstanding job of getting us seated by 2:45 p.m. We arrived at 2:10 p.m. because the opera “The Magic Flute” ended sooner than expected. The food, beverages, and service were excellent!

I read a couple of reviews before going to Waterside and saw some people talk about being rushed to order. For me it was on the contrary, our waitress Maria was amazing and the restaurant manager was great everyone was very welcoming and polite. The food was 7/10 appetizers and Main course was good.

Great Food - especially if you love seafood. The Dover Sole was cooked perfectly. Had to leave a bite or two on the plate to try a dessert. The Pecan Pie was delicious and big enough for two, maybe three. Friendly helpful Service - Jose, our server, full of bright energy, suggested delicious choices, The greeter was engaging. I will definitely come back to try other dishes!

My group were 7 adults and a 4 yr old celebrating our traditional family Christmas Eve dinner. The staff were gracious. They were accommodating to my request that we be seated in main dining room and very attentive to the 4yr child order of her favorite crispy Calamari which is not gummy. We all agreed. She was served first! The steaks were delicious and juicy. The Branzino is cooked to perfection as well as the Grilled Octopus and the Shrimp Scampi. The side dishes of spinach, steak fries and mushrooms are so tasty. The Lobster Bisque soup is to die for. All of us agreed this the best dinner experience at Empire Steak House. Most importantly, we have the choice to order either Pre Fixed or Ala carte. Price is right!

The service is outstanding, and the quality of food is phenomenal!!!
