Saltine, named as a nod to the plain cracker often served with seafood, pays homage to Jackson's rich history with oysters and seafood. After taking a break to raise their two girls, they have returned with the same great food and service everyone came to know.     I highly recommend the crab cakes and the fried oysters! Amazing! You won’t be sorry! Steaks were perfectly seasoned and prepared, the mashed potatoes were really good too. I wasn’t a huge fan of the sautéed mushrooms- they could have used a few more minutes of cooking and a little more seasoning, but they were not terrible. My son ordered the Ahi tuna and he really liked it. Nice wine list.

    I'm not a fan of how the tables are arranged. It feels like a cafeteria and somewhat impersonal. The sitting area in the bar is great. The food was very good except for the house salad. I assume they had a new employee doing salads that night. Steaks, Crab Claws, Tuna Tower were great. However, the stuffed Shrimp was very odd. To much stuffing and there was a loud herb/spice in the dressing mix that left an after taste.

    Reserved table was perfect. Around a vast majority but still felt very much secluded. Despite busy crowd, service was still fast. Food and drinks, always fresh and delicious! 10/10! Will be back soon!
