Best Date Night Restaurants in Near North

Beautiful restaurant with a fantastic ambiance and the food was superb- fully recommend this place

Dom the moment e arrived we knew we’d picked a great place for our first night in Chicago. We had a mocktail and a glass of red whilst waiting for our table. Lovely decor and ambience. Our waiter was very helpful and talked us through the menu. Food was outstanding. We had calamari, fried shrimp and crab linguine. They gave us a complimentary slice of key lime pie. Oh my god this dessert was amazing. We were so full after dinner we were going to skip dessert and this arrived!! It would have been rude not to eat it. The whole experience has made a great start for our 4 nights stay.

Every bit of our experience was perfection. We were a party of six and enjoyed Caesar salad, arugula salad, fettuccine Alfredo, penne a la vodka, meatballs, quatro formaggi pizze, tiramisu, vanilla gelato/strawberry (can’t remember the name… and espresso martinis… all amazing. Service was great. We will be back.

Wonderful dinner celebrating our 10th Wedding anniversary at RPM Italian. The restaurant reached out to ask how many years and when we arrived there was a custom printed menu with Happy 10th Anniversary! The kids loved the pastas and the bubbly drinks so they could cheers with us. The mini ice cream cones with anniversary sign was a sweet touch to end the night. Thanks for making it a special experience for our family to celebrate a delicious dinner together.

I had an incredible experience at Three Dots and a Dash the evening of 12/22/2024. We had reservations in the Bamboo Room, which is a quieter, more intimate, rum focused experience. Matt, the bartender that evening, was fabulous; attentive, thoughtful, engaged, and friendly. We ordered a few drinks from the menu then asked Matt to create something special for us and his drinks did not disappoint. My experience with Tiki and rum drinks is decent; having visited almost every Tiki bar from San Diego to San Francisco (including Trader Vic’s at SJC), Tacoma to Seattle, & a Mai Tai tour across Oahu). 3 Dots is a must do, especially if you are a tiki or rum fan. Food was great too. Next time I fly back to Chicago I will definitely visit again.
