Best Date Night Restaurants in Pickerington

Three of us went for my birthday dinner tonight. It was the best meal I have had since I last ate at the Biltmore in Phoenix,AZ. The presentation was amazing, the waiter “Matthew” was friendly and knew the menu well, excellent at explaining the intricacies of how the dishes were prepared, was always there when we needed something and attentive to our table without being obtrusive. He was the perfect waiter. I had the sea scallops which were perfectly sautéed and served with a variety of steamed vegetables. We all started with the “Heirloom Beet salad” which was so good that Matthew was kind enough to get us a print out of the professional recipe! To finish off an outstanding meal, I had the Tiramisu, which although extremely rich, I was able to finish every last bite! A fantastic evening was had by all! I would recommend this restaurant without hesitation!

I had the lobster linguini. It had a good amount of lobster meat in the dish. My girlfriend had the Chilean sea bass. This fish was cooked perfectly. Only note was it could have used more vinaigrette. Lastly we were there celebrating my girl friend’s EMT school graduation. They came out with a crème brulee with a chocolate saying congratulations on it. Was a lovely end to an amazing meal. Lastly the waiting staff was very accommodating, making sure we had a great evening.

The food, service and value at Marcella’s are top notch. We went on a Friday afternoon/evening at Happy Hour. Lively atmosphere without being too loud. One of our favorite restaurants to visit in the Columbus area.

Wonderful as usual! The Trio lunch (1/2 sandwich, soup, salad) is always delicious although do wish they’d offer another sandwich option besides the chicken salad :)
