Sadly around 21 minutes before our dinner time they cancelled the pasta flight service for the evening. However the food was amazing!! Every single dish was EXCELLENT!!!! The wait staff was phenomenal and fun to talk to. 10/10 would recommend!!! I will say that the host was kinda rude and a little short with us when we were asking about the discontinued flight service. We got to take home a box of the special anniversary tea and make some extra holiday selections from a roving cart. We loved the special treat at the end to celebrate our anniversary- really sweet considering this was not something we directly communicated to the restaurant. Our family was flying from Phoenix to Anchorage and wanted to stop and see my parents in Seattle… the Christmas dinner at Il Bistro was the perfect place to meet and enjoy time (and amazing food) together! But it required a lot of coordination, since our layover was only 4.5 hours - a tight window to get off the plane, into a cab, speed downtown, and get into the restaurant in time to meet my 80-year-old parents for our 5:30 PM reservation, and since reservations booked up so quickly, we had no room for error. Fortunately, Melissa helped us coordinate everything…it seemed the entire staff knew of our situation and was ready to help, treating my parents graciously, assisting them with nearby parking when they arrived, and seating them comfortably at our quiet corner table overlooking the restaurant so they could see us as soon as we came in.
