Avelo Restaurant is located in a heritage townhouse on a quiet street in Yorkville and serves some of the city's finest plant-based cuisine. Our aim is to deliver an extraordinary and immersive dining experience where the servers guide guests through an exploration of many small plates highlighting seasonal ingredients while offering insight into each dish.     Daphne is a restaurant truly worthy of 5 stars! I hosted my friends here for a galentines day brunch and we were truly impressed. The food was PHENOMENAL with each dish plated beautifully and rich with flavour. The staff was courteous, attentive, and friendly. Our server Armand aimed to please and succeeded in taking such great care of our table! The restaurant is SO LOVELY! The luxurious interior design adds to the experience. The manager Amanda also checks in on the tables and is so helpful with any special requests. I would highly recommend Daphne to anyone who loves delicious food, A+ service, and great vibes.

    There was a snow storm ongoing during the visit. Arrived earlier than the reservation, and it wasn’t crowded. Staff allowed seating at a large booth (although it was just two of us) as there were many free tables. Had appetizers and drinks. Comfortable and enjoyable experience. Friendly staff.

    What a fantastic first experience! The atmosphere was very chic while also feeling serene. The service was great! Our server was incredibly knowledgeable and attentive. Finally, the food was delicious! The veal carpaccio is a must and the pasta (snow crab) and seafood platter were succulent.
