Blacklock is a modern take of the Great British chophouse nestled in the corner of a Grade II listed textiles warehouse. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails from the trolley and wine on tap in our subterranean chop mecca. On Sundays we serve a Roast almost as good as Mum's. We have limited spaces for Walk-ins, so we encourage booking in advance to avoid disappointment during busy times.     Went here for the first time for a business lunch and it was incredible. We had Mushroom on toast, pigs head on toast and the ribs... Wow, incredible! The gravy was a revelation! Three plates between four was perfect. The table all got the chips (best I've ever had), a burger, fillet and I shared a porterhouse, everything was spot on. Every dish was cooked perfectly and I've been told the roast in the best in Manchester. Based on the first meal, I can fully believe that & I will be back. Already sent a picture to my Mam who is not local that we have to go when she next visits.

    Kiesha and her team were wonderful on Christmas Day… the meal was perfect for us and served at a table by the open fire in a relaxed atmosphere. It was so nice that they limited the tables and allowed us to fully enjoy our meal… it made it all the more enjoyable so top marks to the management. We will be visiting every time we come to Manchester so thank you
