- VVivVIPLondon •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoWe were a large party of 14 and the staff could not have been more attentive and helpful. With all the extras we ordered, clearing away and dealing with the variety of drinks orders. All with smiles on their faces. But on top of the great service from the moment we all arrived, the food was excellent! Very large plates full of roast dinners. All the extras of stuffing, gravy jugs and cauliflower cheese and not one part of our order was wrong and everything on the menu available. Once we also came to pay and leave they were still very accommodating and chatty and they made us all feel extremely welcome. Would highly recommend.More infoThe Sword Inn HandPrice: Moderate• Gastro Pub• Buntingford•4.8

Slight issue with service being a bit slow to start and meat coming out pink despite asking for well done twice for pregnancy reasons but overall great dining experience and would return.More infoThe Bridge ArmsPrice: Very Expensive• Modern European• Canterbury•4.8
- MMadeleineLondon •9 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoExcellent! I am not a fish person normally but I thoroughly enjoyed the cod, which had a very subtle and delicious sauce, and was generously portioned. My husband and I both had, and loved, the dressed crab starter; it was also very generously portioned with pleasing accoutrements. (Many places are stingy when you order crab so this was great.) Overall an excellent experience with attentive service and can't wait to come back. A top 5 restaurant in coastal Suffolk.More infoThe SuffolkPrice: Very Expensive• British• Aldeburgh•4.5
- JJohnEssex •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoThe young lady waitress greeted us and gave us a choice of table. We received the menus straight away and it was not long before the drinks were delivered. The lack of mocktails was disappointing but the glass Fiano Carlomagna was a delight. It is very unusual to get such a good wine by the glass. It was a pity that the red, a Nero d'Avila from Sicily subsequently proved such a disappointment. A better red from Sicily needs to be sourced if the standard represented by the white is to be maintained. The combination of ingredients and the excellent cooking made for superb food and cannot be more highly recommended, it was so good. I have eaten in Michelin starred restaurants, and these courses were up there. Unusually for us, we each had a sweet course and the Chocolate Mousse with a very unusual Bay Cream was quite excellent. Disappointingly, the sweet wine I requested to go with the Birnham Blue did not arrive because the barman could not find the bottle. Perhaps he needs some training.More infoThe Greyhound InnPrice: Expensive• Gastro Pub• Woodbridge•4.7

A speaker near us meant the music was a bit too loud but the friendly waitress turned it down as soon as I asked. The new Prix Fixe menu was quite different from last week, but our choices were delicious.More infoThe Anchor Inn - NaylandPrice: Moderate• British• Nayland•4.6
