Best Dog Friendly Restaurants in Kew Gardens

Once again an excellent meal! Ricky was a great waiter, service and friendly! We had the skirt teak which was so tender!! I always order the shrimp taco and this time added the flat bread shrimp pizza which was amazing!!

I had a wonderful dinner last night. This time I’ve tried their theater menu. And I am so glad I did! For appetizer, I had my favorite chicken lemon soup and for a main course I had the pan seared Bronzino. It was absolutely delicious. Let’s not forget about my cocktail Hachiko. It was very flavorful. And I absolutely couldn’t resist to try my dessert which was a part of the theater menu. The chocolate lava cake was fantastic. I highly recommend to try it out. Love the atmosphere. Food. Ambience. Love the restaurant. I will go back again

This place used to be our go-to restaurant for all occasions when we lived at Hampton CT in Kew Gardens. Their weekly prime rib special was a must and always good fun at the bar. I decided to have a group brunch with friends to celebrate Christmas as it was more centrally located for everyone. Having been away for nearly 7 years, it was like seeing an old friend again. Food is always prepared thoughtfully and the staff is awesome. Not surprising to learn that John, the general manager is still there. Thanks Austin Ale House for another great memory.

The food here is always great. I had the lamb and sea (lamb chops and shrimp) which was one of the specials. The lamb was cooked just as I asked (medium) and was a nice portion, along with 5 or 6 shrimp, mashed potatoes and broccoli. I also had the mussels for an appetizer, some of the best I have had. Everyone at our table was too full for dessert. In fact, 3 out of the 5 of us took home leftovers. Nick’s Bistro remains one of our favorite restaurants both for the food and the value, as well as the friendly, attentive wait staff.
