- LLoisLas Vegas •47 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoThe spouse & I were visiting my daughter, who lives in San Diego. She had not been to Madison & neither had we. We all enjoyed the tomato & burrata appetizer. We also had the cioppino, Tuscan sausage rigatoni & chicken piccata; all were so good! Spouse & I had the Ibarra & The Woodsman, which were delicious. Service from Kylee excellent. We also enjoyed the music. My daughter plans to bring her roommates here.More infoMadisonPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• University Heights•4.5

We had the focaccia with burrata appetizer then ordered the hot honey pizza, nidi pasta & pork belly bites; all were delicious.More infoNolita HallPrice: Expensive• Contemporary Italian• Little Italy•4.3
- EEmilyDallas - Fort Worth •4 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWe had a spectacular time at Civico 1845 for a Sunday night date! Having never been, we chose to make a reservation just to be sure. Upon arrival, we were seated right away and saw the restaurant was about half empty. Our table was in a cozy corner of the restaurant next to an open window - it was very peaceful and romantic. We loved the interior decor; it felt well curated and authentic without trying too hard. My husband ordered an amaretto sour and I ordered a Bellini. Both drinks were delicious! The server brought out the complimentary focaccia and pesto, both of which were super fresh and tasty. The bread was soft, chewy, and the outside was perfectly oiled and crispy. I could've eaten the pesto with a spoon. We also had the "pompette" meatball appetizer. This was just divine. Three large, perfectly cooked meatballs in a simply delicious tomato sauce with whipped ricotta. YUM! For entrees, I had the fusilli alla norma and my husband ordered the pappardelle brasato. I loved how simple my dish was, yet so full of flavor. The short rib ragu that covered my husband's pasta was so tender and again, simply delicious. Every staff member we interacted with from start to finish was friendly, kind, and attentive. We just could not believe what a great meal and time we had a Civico 1845! We are not local, so we don't know when we'll be back, which is a shame because we already are craving it again!More infoCivico 1845Price: Moderate• Italian• Little Italy•4.4

Good wine selection and reasonably priced, with a strong recommendation for the Sangiovese. Also recommend the lasagna.More infoGarage Buona ForchettaPrice: Moderate• Italian• Coronado•4.6
- MMelanieSan Diego •59 reviews4.0Dined on 26 Dec 2024Definitely glad we made reservations! It was Christmas night and super busy! Our server was great. Food was good, got a Carnitas taco and it was gushy and had no pork taste. We decided it was pot roast not carnitas! Very disappointed. The white rice was interesting, never seen that at a Mexican restaurant before. Beans were good. The other taco I had was delicious! I think it was called the Gringo. I will go back just for that taco!! Overall it was a good night! We will be backMore infoCasa De Freds, Tacos y TequilaPrice: Moderate• Mexican• Old Town•4.5
