Byblos Café, originally a Mediterranean market, has been a staple in the orange circle since the 50’s. It was sold to Adel and Zalfa Mahshi in 1989. The family run business became a favorite in the town for Lebanese cuisine. Many locals loyally frequented the spot for their famous Turkish coffee. In 2022, Daily Dose Hospitality, the crew that also runs Bosscat Kitchen & Libations, purchased the business from the family. We longed for a community built around a table with good food, but Anaheim lacked authentic and fresh Mediterranean cuisine. We took it on ourselves to create the space and food we craved. Together with friends and family, we hand-built a restaurant that felt Mediterranean in every way, from the murals of the Aleppo Citadel to the menu filled with warm spices and colorful vegetables. Our menu is still built on the original recipes and techniques passed down by our grandparents. We only use high-quality and fresh ingredients, because we want to represent our cuisine well.

Good traditional American bbq at a local establishment in Irvine is a treat- one of my faves. Drink menu is special, unique, inventive. Whiskeys are their specialty. My favorite is the Southern Peach Tea cocktail. Delicious! Tri tip and brisket are terrific. Sides are really good too. We love the Brussels sprouts which incorporate their pork belly. The pork belly is taaaaasty! We came here for my birthday and everybody in my family easily found meals they really enjoyed. Fun atmosphere, especially if you like sports, which we do. They had all the football and basketball games playing on tvs on each wall but on silent so you can have conversation and enjoy your food. Staff is really nice, care about the food and drink and customers. They're knowledgeable and helpful.
