Best Family Style Restaurants in Costa Mesa

Food was delicious! They were able to accommodate a list of allergens and make just about anything on the menu. Ordered the sea bass which was perfectly cooked and seasoned. We also had a prime rib and chicken piccata. The piccata was a bit rich but good. The sides are large enough for 3-4 people. We ordered the Caesar salad and Brussel sprouts. Service was a little slow but it was Christmas Eve. The ambiance, hospitality and food make it worth it!

Always an awesome dining experience at Maggiano’s! As close to authentic as they come. Their lobster carbonara is over the top. But their bronzini fish is pretty awesome too! Never a disappointment here. We had a new server this time. His name was Austin. You must ask for him. Fabulous service!

The food was amazing and the ambiance was perfect for a date night, but what really stood out was the attentiveness and professionalism that came with our server Shannon. She is what really made a difference in our experience at this restaurant. She asked if this was our first time and then proceeded to take her time going through the whole menu (drinks menu as well) and knew it like she made it herself. I never felt rushed and always looked after. I don’t do reviews usually but after coming across her I felt like this was the least I could do. She deserves her credit for sure.

Joey is a fantastic dining experience. The staff is phenomenal and the food is phenomenal and the vibe is phenomenal! I wish it was a little quieter but to be honest it’s not annoying noise it’s lively noise. You can tell that everyone in the building is joyful being there and that’s a good thing. Every time I go to Joey I enjoy myself.

Delicious vegetarian food! The quality of food, and the flavors were all outstanding. Also, the service was friendly and informative.
