Best Family Style Restaurants in Kings Park

We were there years ago just after they opened and were not impressed but we tried it again because it was Restaurant Week. Glad we did. The interior is beautiful and the Waiter - Will? - was excellent. Food was outstanding and plentiful from the appetizer through the main course. Best bread we have had in years. It was a wonderful experience and we will be back.

We love La Vallini because the food is consistently good and the staff is super friendly . You should definitely try the chicken wings appetizer. They are one of our favorites!

We’ve found our new favorite place for date night! Beautiful, intimate setting with fantastic live jazz music. The staff was top notch and couldn’t be more warm and welcoming. The bartender Tom is fantastic and crafted some of the most gorgeous (and delicious) cocktails I’ve ever seen/tasted. The food was equally incredible from the fried artichoke to start, the crab cake appetizer, truffle cacio pepe pasta, finished with a delicious cheesecake. Thank you for an amazing night, Barrotta’s, we can’t wait to come back!

Carla was an excellent server and offered wonderful suggestions, especially the coconut tres leches cake!!! The octopus was divine-tender and succulent. Tasty oyster tapas. Only empanada I’ve ever enjoyed-crisp, light and flavorful. Our paellas and cod entree were first rate. We appreciated being able to sit and catch up with friends without being rushed. Thanks for a special evening.

This is a wonderful neighborhood restaurant. The food is great. The service is fine and the cost is reasonable. Highly recommend.
