- BBriannaLas Vegas •3 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe were at the Wynn, and most restaurants there were telling us a 3+ hour wait for even the most casual eateries.... We promptly left, went on OpenTable and within 10 minutes booked a reservation and power walked to LAVO. Absolutely the better outcome! Cool ambience, no judgement, a DJ, great staff from the host, to waitress, to cocktail and dessert runners. Highly recommend! We loved every second. Pricing was fair for Vegas and the food portions were great. Food tasted excellent too! I'm so happy we ended up here. If I remembered names I would thank all of you for the experience! If you've ever worked in the hospitality industry, this restaurant runs like a well oiled machine. I thoroughly enjoyed watching everyone thrive and promptly get everything ready for the next guest. It was so impressive! For 2 people it was $166, we had 2 entrees, an appetizer, 1 cocktail, 2 desserts, and a shot of espresso. Also came with complimentary focaccia and veggies. Will definitely go again!More infoLAVO Italian Restaurant - Las VegasPrice: Expensive• Italian• The Venetian and Palazzo•4.4
- LLynnevipPhoenix / Arizona •49 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe had eaten in the Charcoal Room years ago and remembered it well. The food quality was far beyond our expectations though. The cinammon raisin bread in the basket was so good, I would want to purchase a loaf to take home. The steak was done perfectly & the garlic cilantro sauce was fabulous. We ordered the gorgonzola fondue as a side so we could share it, and I think it would be better right on the steak as they recommend. It congealed pretty quickly, and I didn't care for it, but my husband really liked it. The chopped salad was delicious and big enough to share. The drink were also really good (margarita, espresso martini & keoni coffee drink tried at our table). We were there on Thanksgiving, and the service was so friendly. We joyfully left a very good tip, as it was well deserved. The only thing we didn't care for in a nice and expensive steakhouse such as this was the number of televisions in the space. They really detracted from the ambiance in our opinion. We remembered the restaurant having a more cozy feeling, and that was not the case this time. However, the quality of the food & service more than made up for this. We will be back.More infoThe Charcoal Room - Santa Fe Station Hotel & CasinoPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Santa Fe Station Hotel & Casino•4.6
- SSarahLas Vegas •4 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe had a fantastic non-traditional Thanksgiving meal at Carmine’s, and we loved it! From the food, to the service, to the extra attention we received from Jessica, our server, the runners, and the manager, “T”, we absolutely loved it. We had the mixed salad (enough for 8, seriously), Eggplant Parmesan (our favorite thing!), a side of meatballs, and rotini with Giardiniera sauce. For dessert, we shared the Chocolate Bread Pudding with a side of vanilla ice cream. Oh…my…gosh. This was phenomenal! Jessica was attentive without being overbearing, our water was kept full (always appreciated), dishes were cleared quickly, the noise level was good, the holiday decorations were beautiful, and we even got to meet the GM. What a great experience!More infoCarmine's - Las VegasPrice: Moderate• Italian• Forum Shops at Caesars•4.7
