- BBriannaLas Vegas •3 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe were at the Wynn, and most restaurants there were telling us a 3+ hour wait for even the most casual eateries.... We promptly left, went on OpenTable and within 10 minutes booked a reservation and power walked to LAVO. Absolutely the better outcome! Cool ambience, no judgement, a DJ, great staff from the host, to waitress, to cocktail and dessert runners. Highly recommend! We loved every second. Pricing was fair for Vegas and the food portions were great. Food tasted excellent too! I'm so happy we ended up here. If I remembered names I would thank all of you for the experience! If you've ever worked in the hospitality industry, this restaurant runs like a well oiled machine. I thoroughly enjoyed watching everyone thrive and promptly get everything ready for the next guest. It was so impressive! For 2 people it was $166, we had 2 entrees, an appetizer, 1 cocktail, 2 desserts, and a shot of espresso. Also came with complimentary focaccia and veggies. Will definitely go again!More infoLAVO Italian Restaurant - Las VegasPrice: Expensive• Italian• The Venetian and Palazzo•4.4

Difficult to pick out a favorite out of the multitudinous offerings; if forced, the foie gras stuffing and the duck breast carpaccio, but all were intensely flavorful. Bountiful too, had a lot of takeaway from the main course onward; food held up as leftovers. There was also a special cocktail menu; tried all three of the $16 alcoholic choices. Creative, all sippable, using unusual (to me) ingredients like yam-infused vodka or black pepper syrup. A true brobdingnagian feast! Service: Delightful from Amy and Cami! Atmosphere: Place was packed and loud; bar was a bit cramped, especially when the food really started to roll out, a jenga exercise getting all of the bowls, plates, and pans into as narrow a spot as possible. Value: Immense.More infoSparrow + WolfPrice: Expensive• American• Chinatown•4.7
- SSarahLas Vegas •5 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWe had a fantastic non-traditional Thanksgiving meal at Carmine’s, and we loved it! From the food, to the service, to the extra attention we received from Jessica, our server, the runners, and the manager, “T”, we absolutely loved it. We had the mixed salad (enough for 8, seriously), Eggplant Parmesan (our favorite thing!), a side of meatballs, and rotini with Giardiniera sauce. For dessert, we shared the Chocolate Bread Pudding with a side of vanilla ice cream. Oh…my…gosh. This was phenomenal! Jessica was attentive without being overbearing, our water was kept full (always appreciated), dishes were cleared quickly, the noise level was good, the holiday decorations were beautiful, and we even got to meet the GM. What a great experience!More infoCarmine's - Las VegasPrice: Moderate• Italian• Forum Shops at Caesars•4.7
- VVickieLas Vegas •2 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoEverything is always great there except for the hostesses. We seem to always have not so friendly hostesses. They’re not rude. Just very stern and cold and not willing to bend. We requested a bigger table to combine our 2 parties (kids age 12-17) and there was one but it wasn’t allowed unless we ordered a specific menu. And yes, we’ve been there at least three times this year. Food is always good though.More infoZuma Restaurant - Las VegasPrice: Very Expensive• Japanese• The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas•4.8
