Best Family Style Restaurants in West Phoenix

I have been going to the Wrigley Mansion for many years to celebrate life events with brunch. The history of the place is a part of the history of Phoenix. I have watched renovations and improvements over many years and the Mansion just gets better and better. Our waiter, John, explained the menu and answered all our questions. He was polite and fun. He took care of our every need as did the rest of staff. The food was delicious!

Our party had the Gucamole, Pasta Baconora, Green Chili Enchiladas, Taco Baconora, and Tacos Birria. The baconora and birria items flavors were really great.the enchilada was a bit more bland than expected. Server was very nice but it was a bit slower to get drinks and initial order. Overall a good experience and somewhere we will visit in the future

Having worked in the restaurant business, you have a higher expectation of what an experience should be. Food becomes bland, poor service is the norm, and you pick everything apart. My wife and I have elaborate discussions during most dinners about how everything has no care or love anymore, and eating is just passing the time. Nothing stands out. I will say this dinner was one of the best overall meals I can remember. The food had flavor for days, and the service was exceptional. Thank you for having a Chilean wine on the menu! That banana ice cream was unreal and was a great finish to the dinner. Thank you for letting me be a part of your culinary journey.

This is the purest expression of Sonoran food in Arizona I’ve had so far. Tremendous work with amazing vision. The people, the dishes, it was all rooted in tradition but cooked at an incredibly high level of skill. Plus the staff was unbelievably patient and kind. I had shown up earlier and my friends ran incredibly late. They were very patient and assured me it was fine. I wish I could’ve tipped more.
