- WwhiskyloverVIPNew York City •13 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoI want to shout from the rooftops about this extraordinary gem in NYC's Lower Manhattan - just a stone's throw from City Hall. The general manager of a midtown restaurant recommended we try it because of its extensive collection of Chartreuse and great wine list. To enjoy a dinner with rare 1960s and even a sip of an even earlier bottling of the French liquer would have been worth the trek from UES, but the food alone overseen by head chef John was brilliantly conceived and full of flavor. Each dish was lovingly crafted and presented professionally by the team at Chambers. The divine tuna and equisitely dressed kohlrabi salad were wonderful starters, but the halibut with sunchokes and cheese gnudi entrees were delicious. Desserts, prepared in front of us at the kitchen counter seating, were amazing finales to start iur new year obsession with this special restaurant. We cannot wait to return often as we understand that the menu changes often even though the sommelier in chief's wine list remains a constant that will impress most connoisseurs.More infoChambersPrice: Very Expensive• American• TriBeCa•4.9
- EErikVIPWest Palm Beach •18 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoWe felt instantly transported by the whimsical pawn shop storefront that conceals the exquisite restaurant hidden behind a door at the back. The eclectic items in the shop are all for sale, adding a playful and unique element to the dining experience. Upon entering the restaurant, we were welcomed by vaulted ceilings, brass accents, and a moody, stylish bar that set the tone for the space. We were seated near the front and warmly greeted by an attentive waiter. For brunch, our party ordered a variety of dishes: my son enjoyed the decadent velvet waffles, my mother-in-law savored the Shakshuka eggs, my wife relished the ribs, and I indulged in the skirt steak and eggs. Each dish was perfectly seasoned and eagerly devoured. The ambiance added to the experience—a lively yet relaxed Sunday crowd created a pleasant hum of conversation that filled the spacious room without being overpowering. We had no trouble hearing one another and appreciated the balance of energy and comfort. Overall, the experience was delightful from start to finish, and we left already planning our next visit to this hidden gem.More infoBeauty & Essex- New YorkPrice: Expensive• Unspecified• Lower East Side•4.6
- EEmilyVIPWashington, D.C. Area •2 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoI rarely write reviews but wanted to share this. This is a restaurant primarily attractive to a young crowd eager for the drink special in the prix fixe menu. When we arrived (7 months pregnant and two kids under 10) they immediately worked to seat us quickly, then dispensed with the prix fixe because it didn’t make sense for us since 3 out of 4 of us couldn’t drink. Love the thoughtfulness. Food came out quickly, hot, kid friendly pasta options without insane portions. Great option.More infoSan Marzano Pasta FrescaPrice: Moderate• Italian• East Village•4.5
- EErikaVIPSouth Carolina •8 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoBONDST was one of the most incredible meals I've ever had. I had two of the Shishito Pepper Margaritas which had the perfect spice level. They were so good. I split with my daughter the Wagyu Carpaccio, Toro Tartare with Caviar, Seared Salmon sushi roll, Spicy Tuna sushi roll, Tuna Tarts, Spicy Shrimp, and the Hot Scallop dish. Seriously incredible. Found out the next day that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce were eating there at the same time too!!! Such a cool spot. The vibes were immaculate and the food was absolutely incredible.More infoBONDSTPrice: Very Expensive• Japanese• NoHo•4.8
- PPatrickWashington, D.C. Area •1 review5.0Dined on 23 Dec 2024This place is such a gem - from the moment you get to the door, you can tell Cafe Mars is not your typical restaurant. The decor is colorful and vibrant; it just screams "walk in here and get ready to have a great time". The staff are warm, entertaining, and knowledgeable. I have had nothing but 10/10 service on all of my visits here. And of course, the food is fantastic. Chef Paul truly works wonders here. Run, don't walk to Cafe Mars!More infoCafé MarsPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary Italian• Park Slope•4.9
