- MMaggieGreater Boston •2 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoNot only was our meal typically excellent, but the hostess was a hoot and our server lovely and attentive. I thought I lost a glove, and the hostess got completely involved in helping me find it; it was next to my car in the parking lot and when I went back in to call off the search, the hostess and I had another rather hilarious encounter and, as I turned to leave, I heard her shout to the rest of the crew, "SHE FOUND IT!" Now, THAT's a community in a kitchen!!!More infoSiena Ristorante ToscanaPrice: Expensive• Italian• Northwest•4.8
- TTaraAustin •3 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWe went on a Tuesday night and it was HOPPIN'! The entire place was packed, standing room only at the bar, and really loud, but that's what you get with a place with really high ceilings. We were seated right away, which was nice. Our server was adorable and knowledgeable. Since they were super busy, the main entrees took a bit to come out and were oddly timed, but worth the wait. Everything was delicious, and we even had a couple picky kids with us. We will definitely go back someday......probably without the kids.More infoBulevar Mexican KitchenPrice: Expensive• Contemporary Mexican• Arboretum•4.7
- AAlexNew York City •3 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoOne: they had no issue splitting a tasting menu between two people in addition to us ordering a number of other things, which was a delightful and excellent way to taste what they had to offer. Two, dollar oysters on Tuesdays and half off small plates during happy hour meant an extremely reasonably priced luxury dinner - I think they do tartare the best in this city, their pork pate was delicious, and the tasting menu was fantastic. portions are good, servers are informed, it’s all kindsa good!More infoForeign & Domestic - AustinPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Central Austin•4.7
- RRobertAustin •18 reviews5.0Dined on 15 Dec 2024You won't find finer Japanese "fine dining" cuisine in Austin. We selected the Omakase experience and each course was simply wonderful. Sake paring is definitely worth the price and a great education if you know little about sake. Service was exceptional as well. No question, this will quickly become a place in which I spend way too much time. Highly recommended.More infodipdipdip Tatsu-yaPrice: Expensive• Japanese• Allandale•4.8
- LLaurenVIPAustin •15 reviews5.0Dined on 15 Dec 2024Our dinner last night was so lovely. We're parents of a toddler so we don't get out much. We had a babysitter and decided to use a gift card for one of our past favorite restaurants. Everything was absolutely delicious. We started with the rosemary sourdough bread with butter, escarole and Frisee salad, and Polpette meatballs. The bread has a great flavor and good texture. Every aspect of the salad was incredible - the dressing, the grapefruit, the honey Aleppo almonds. And the Polpette were some of the best meatballs I've tried. We really enjoyed the chicken milanesa and the black pepper Pappardelle dish had amazing texture (all their pastas are made in-house) but I feel could have had a more interesting flavor. I had really wanted to try the Tiramisu, one of my favorite desserts, but we were so stuffed. All the wine and cocktails were tasty. We sat on the patio since we wanted to order off the A la carte menu but it was so quiet and dead outside. Some music or something piped outside might have been nice. We used to frequent L'Oca d'Oro before the pandemic and before having kids, but we hadn't been back since Fall 2019. I was happy to see the ways in which the restaurant pivoted during the pandemic and all that they have done to care for their employees, very admirable. Overall, we really loved our meal and we will happily be back!More infoL'Oca d'OroPrice: Very Expensive• Italian• North Central•4.5
