- MMattOxford/Oxfordshire •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoMy wife and I visited the plough at Shiplake as a birthday treat. We really enjoyed the food and drink. The staff were very friendly and professional. It was a very cosy environment which was perfect for us. Highly recommend. Thank you to our waiter who made our evening feel special.More infoThe Plough ShiplakePrice: Expensive• British• Henley-On-Thames•4.8

- MMaarionBerkshire •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoExcellent quality food and service. We usually have the lunchtime “Village Menu” which is great value for money - we all found the choices on offer enticing and could have chosen any one - which means we’re happy to go back again knowing we can try something different. They provide nice little touches like focaccia as a nibble to start while waiting. Portion sizes we found were perfect.More infoThe Crown - Burchetts GreenPrice: Expensive• British• Maidenhead•4.7
- CClaireLondon •6 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoLovely pub with great food. It is a bit out of the way if you don't know where you're going, but a good find. We shared the haggis bon bons & the squid to start with. Never had haggis with apple sauce but it worked. Then both had the beef & game pie which was very tasty and great pastry and came with red cabbage. We ordered 2 portions of chips to have with the pie as we were both hungry, but reality with a starter then one portion would have been plenty! Definitely no room for pudding! The guys running the place were very pleasant and helpful and it was warm - we ate in the bar. The toilets were clean (ladies) - the men's weren't used. We would go back.More infoThe Chequers InnPrice: Moderate• Contemporary British• Stokenchurch•4.8
