Best Fine Dining Restaurants in Mint Hill

I’ve lost count of the number of times I have had the opportunity to dine at Roosters (and looking forward to dining at the next location in Ballantyne). The food is always outstanding and a step above what most good restaurants in Charlotte have to offer. Staff members always have the best attitude and advice and make it a real pleasure to dine. My wife and I (and family) have any special meals at Roosters. Love it!!

Must make reservations of which we did or you will have a hard time getting in. We were asked if we were celebrating anything when we arrived and mentioned it was a birthday, but it wasn’t acknowledged in any way during our visit. That felt a bit strange, especially since they specifically asked. The overall experience was still enjoyable, though. The ambience was definitely the highlight — the intricate design, beautiful chandeliers, and mirrors created a stunning atmosphere that made the visit memorable. As for the food, the menu is somewhat limited, but the dishes were decent and satisfying. The service, however, was a bit slow both in terms of food delivery and waiting on us, which was a little frustrating. While the food wasn’t the standout feature, the restaurant’s atmosphere made up for it. All in all, a lovely place to visit for the ambience, but the service could use some improvement.

We found the Fug Tree on Open table and a travel blog recommendation and it was exactly what we were looking for! We had a fabulous time celebrating my daughter’s 23rd birthday trip from Los Angeles -- and met others celebrating their anniversaries. We shared 2 apps, a salad, 1 main, and ordered 3 drinks (2 different cocktails and a glass of wine) — and unfortunately didn’t have room for dessert which we were looking forward to — but they still brought some homemade chocolates on a plate inscribed Happy Birthday with a candle, which was lovely! The wait staff were very personable and took great care of us including splitting shared dishes without being asked. The cocktails were unique and yummy. The food was a fantastic mix of flavors and cooked to perfection. The house was tastefully decorated for the holidays. Compared to LA prices it was at least 50% less expensive than a similar experience — but we did tip a lot more than we usually would since service was fantastic and min wage in NC is about 1/4 of that in CA.

Absolutely the best restaurant in Charlotte!! Amazing service and atmosphere! Started with tasty cocktails at the bar. Our meals were just so fresh and delicious!! Flavors you can’t find in other restaurants!!! My favorite is the grilled Lup de Mar sea bass. We had lamb chops, lobster pasta , grilled octopus, grilled mushrooms, Limani chips, sashimi …. Loved it all!! The In house pastry chef made unbelievable deserts. Of course we tried 5 different deserts. Heaven!!! Our favorite restaurant!!!

Went on a two for $20 Tuesday but to our surprise, it ended this week. Not indicated on Instagram or any other social media about the change. Nonetheless we ordered some outstanding entrees and craft cocktails and this place did not disappoint. Love love love this place and we will be back
