Midwest Italian restaurant focusing on house made pastas, utilizing vegetables from Chef Joe Frillman’s family farm. Our bakery and cafe serves La Colombe Coffee alongside an array of pastries and sandwiches crafted by Chef Leigh Omilinksy.Dinner reservations are available Tuesday - Sunday; we are closed for dinner service on Mondays. Our cafe operates from 7:00am - 3:00pm every day. Lunch is available from 11:00am - 2:00pm every day. We do not take lunch or cafe reservations, it is first come first served. Taxim, which is located in Chicago's Wicker Park neighborhood, features regionally-inspired Greek dishes paired with an all-Greek wine list.     Our first time dining at a Ukranian restaurant although a guest will be familiar with some of the foods from other eastern European countries. The cocktails were creative but not overwhelming, however, the variety of "infusions" (vodka infused with herbs or fruit) was great and fun. Enjoyed the horseradish infusion to sip on during much of the meal, and a cherry infusion later. It's easy to share all of the courses. The appetizers are shown to guests on a cart. The roe tart was very tasty as was the egg with tarragon mayo and sardine. We also had a bread basket, fresh pickles and rolled eggplant. One could make a meal of an infusion and a variety of apps. A highlight was the duck, borsch soup with a side of garlic rolls. We subsequently enjoyed a creamy lasagna-like dish, side of kasha and potato pancakes. For dessert, we enjoyed a yummy multi-layer spice cake. Service was good although not flawless - and did not prevent us from having a great meal.

    Tama is excellent!! Food was outstanding. Service was lovely. Only issue was the upstairs went hot & cold with heat and blowing of vent. Looking forward to going back to Tama again!!

    Daisies was phenomenal all around for us. The service, ambience, food were all on top notch. We had the rigatoni, stracci, the potted carrots, and the onion dip. It was honestly some of the best pastas we’ve ever had! The appetizers were also excellent. We will definitely be returning to try the rest of the menu.

    My family made reservations for the Thanksgiving dinner, and it did not disappoint. The food was spectacular and now I'm curious about what Artango's regular menu is like. The service was great, I appreciated so much that they were working on Thanksgiving day. The live music was also a really nice touch for the experience. I would definitely recommend Artango to others.

    We used to be huge fans of Owen & Engine & can see now why this is becoming a local favorite.The place is beautifully lit and feels welcoming. Tuna tartare was very fresh as well as their specialty dish Ossobucco veal shank. Blood orange margaritas were definitely the hit of the evening. Christian & Lupe definitely made us feel part of their own family
