Best Fine Dining Restaurants in Bray

Until yesterday I thought a steak was a steak anywhere. How wrong! Had the sharing steak yesterday, an absolute delight was quite honestly the best steak I have eaten in a long while, the last being in South Africa some 25 years ago! The accompanying potatoes to die for and if I had had carrots like they serve here when I was younger I may have grown up to like them! Such detailed precision in all the dishes with unusual combinations that work and superb presentation created by master chefs. I look forward to my next visit on my return to Greystones. All should sample the food at least once and I guarantee you will return, even if it takes a couple of years, well worth the wait.

Our visit to Sika was the perfect balance of 5 star food, service and family friendly ambiance. This was our nine year old son’s first visit to a fine dining venue…his initial trepidation was overcome by the warmth and accommodating approach taken by the waiting staff. As a result we all three thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Worth particular mention were the Brie and scallop starters, the wagyu beef main and the Valrhona chocolate pudding.

Dining was not in the upstairs Woodlands restaurant as booked and expected but was in downstairs bar area. This was disappointing

We had a lovely family Sunday lunch there. Lots of room for the two prams and lovely location. The garden is big so we could take it in turns keeping a toddler occupied. Food was very pleasant, great to have a good old fashioned Sunday roast as well. Staff very nice and attentive. Overall I would recommend it and we will certainly go again.
